American actress Gabrielle Union recently discussed her marriage to former NFL player Chris Howard and stated that it had been strained from the beginning.
Gabrielle admitted that she felt entitled to infidelity during her marriage. She also revealed that she was paying Chris’ bills and that the relationship should not have progressed beyond the dating stage.
“In our first marriage, neither of us felt like the marriage should get in the way of our dating,” Gabrielle said. Part of it was like keeping up with his activities, like, “Oh, that’s what you’re doing?” “You’re going to feel this one,” and I just felt entitled to it.
“I was paying all the bills; I was working very hard, and I felt like that’s what came, the spoils of riches,” she continued. Like my father before me, I believed that whoever had the most could do whatever they wanted. “It was dysfunctional from the start.”
