The Nigerian music industry is about to witness another historic moment.
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido announces the release date for his new album.
This is coming days after deleting photos and videos from his Instagram page.
Project ‘Timeless’
Speaking about his new project, the singer via a video shared across his social media platforms, says his fourth studio album entitled ‘Timeless’, will be released on the March 31.
“There is a time for everything. A time to grieve and a time to heal. A time to laugh and a time to dance. A time to speak and a time for silence,” he wrote in the caption.
The saying was drawn from the scriptures, Ecclesiastics 3:4-5.
Continuing in the announcement post, he expressed gratitude to his fans.
“Thank you to everyone out there for your love and support that has held me down.
“All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all.

Davido’s Absence
Davido has been off the music scene for several months following the tragic loss of his son, Ifeanyi.

The three-year-old whom he shared with his fianceé now wife, Chioma Rowland, died in October 2022 after drowning in a pool at the singer’s residence in Lagos.
That death brought about the grief statement in the scripture he quoted. Davido is now a preacher.
