Rema Joins World Cup Opening Ceremony Line-Up

He will perform alongside Tyla, Future, Katy Perry, Anitta, and LISA.

Organisers will stage the event at Los Angeles Stadium during the World Cup opening celebrations.

FIFA will also deliver three separate opening ceremonies across the host nations.

Mexico City will host its ceremony on 11 June 2026.

Meanwhile, Toronto and Los Angeles will each stage their own celebrations on June 12, 2026.

In addition, FIFA plans to blend football, music, and entertainment throughout the historic tournament summer.

Global Celebration Across Three Nations

In Los Angeles, organisers will start the ceremony 90 minutes before kick-off.

As a result, fans will experience pre-match entertainment that builds atmosphere before the game.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the event as a symbol of cultural diversity and global scale.

Furthermore, he called Los Angeles the world’s entertainment capital and a hub of influence.

He also highlighted how the artist line-up reflects the diversity of the United States.

In addition, he stressed that music unites people across different backgrounds and communities.

Balich Wonder Studio will produce the ceremony and create large-scale visual storytelling.

Moreover, the production team will design immersive performances centred on the FIFA World Cup Trophy.

Overall, the 2026 World Cup will feature 104 matches across 16 cities in three countries.

It will begin on June 11, 2026 in Mexico City.

Finally, it will conclude on 19 July at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
