Asake has now amassed a remarkable 60 entries on the chart, thanks to his collaborative track with Wizkid, ‘Jogodo,’ which climbed to a peak position of number four this week.

While Asake continues to rewrite the record books, South African sensation Tyla remains firmly in control at the top of the chart.

Her song ‘Channel’ maintained its number-one spot for another week, reinforcing her dominance in the Afrobeats space.

Tyla was recently named the Top Afrobeats Artist of 2025, adding to an already historic run. Her breakout hit ‘Water’ previously set the benchmark for longevity, holding the number-one position for an unprecedented 55 weeks.

Elsewhere on the Billboard charts, Burna Boy achieved another landmark moment in his international career.

The Nigerian superstar earned his first-ever top 20 entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with his feature on Gunna’s track ‘WGFT.’

The song surged to a new peak of number 16 following the release of a remix featuring Chris Brown.

With this feat, Burna Boy has become the first African artist to debut a song on the Billboard Hot 100 in five consecutive years, spanning from 2021 to 2025.
