Nigerian model and socialite, Denrele Edun, has spoken openly about his love life and sexuality, revealing that he has often been unlucky in relationships.
Speaking on an episode of The Moraya Show, Denrele said his biggest challenge in love has been giving more than he receives.
According to him, his commitment is rarely matched by his partners, leaving him disappointed and emotionally drained.
“I have not really been lucky with love. People like us who have so much love to give to the world, we don’t really get it back in return,” he said.
The media personality explained that after several failed emotional attachments, he has decided to focus on loving himself instead.
Denrele also made it clear that he does not see himself as the problem in his relationships. Describing himself as “the easiest person to love,” he noted that his efforts are often met with excuses rather than commitment.
“Once I make effort, people give excuses. While I give clarity, they give me confusion,” he added, stressing that the lack of reciprocity has been a recurring pattern in his love life.
In addition, the movie star addressed his sexuality, stating that he has experienced “the best of both worlds,” further affirming his openness about his personal life.
