Kuwait Introduces Longer Residency Permits

Consequently, constant renewals disrupted his life, forcing him to schedule trips, work, and family around bureaucracy.
Now, the government issues residency permits lasting 10 to 15 years, giving long-term residents stability and peace of mind.
Moreover, investors can obtain 15-year permits, while children of Kuwaiti women or property owners can stay up to 10 years.
Easier Visitor Rules

Simplified Fees And Requirements

The authorities also updated fees: standard permits cost KWD 20, investors KWD 50, and self-sponsored residents KWD 500.
Meanwhile, dependents pay lower or zero fees for spouses and children, and KWD 300 per year for others.
Additionally, officials removed university degree requirements for certain visas, opening opportunities for families from diverse backgrounds.
Finally, family visit visas now cover relatives up to the fourth degree, with no airline restrictions, simplifying travel.
