Popular Nigerian rapper Okafor Victor, professionally known as Mr Real, has made a U-turn over his earlier remarks about singer D’banj’s Creative Reality Entertainment Art & Music (CREAM) platform.

D’banj had claimed during an interview on The Micon Podcast in November 2025 that the CREAM platform is valued at $3 billion.
Following the interview, Mr Real reacted in a social media video, accusing D’banj of trying to “package” the platform and alleging that the singer failed to pay him an agreed ₦20 million ambassadorial fee linked to CREAM.
However, in a new development, Mr Real has issued a public apology to D’banj.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Monday, January 19, 2026, the rapper admitted that he misunderstood and misinterpreted issues surrounding the CREAM platform.
Mr Real described D’banj as a major influence on his career and expressed regret over the tone and public nature of his comments.
He said he holds the music star in high regard, has withdrawn his earlier statements, and will no longer make public comments on the issue while working towards an amicable resolution.
The apology followed reports that D’banj, through his legal representatives, had filed a petition against Mr Real.
