Sometimes, the past has a way of knocking loudly on the door of the present especially through dreams.
This appears to be the case for popular Yoruba actress Kemi Afolabi, who has taken to social media to launch a public search for her childhood friend, Maria.

She attended the same secondary school with her over two decades ago.
The actress made the emotional appeal via her Instagram page.
She reveals that Maria was her schoolmate at Our Lady of Apostles (OLA) Secondary School, Yaba, Lagos, as part of the 1998 set.
According to Kemi Afolabi, a series of recurring dreams featuring Maria prompted her sudden concern and renewed determination to reconnect.
“I keep seeing her in my dreams, and I just want to be sure she is okay and not in any trouble whatsoever,” the actress wrote.
Kemi explained that the repeated visions left her unsettled and worried about her friend’s wellbeing.
This compels her to seek help from the public to trace Maria’s whereabouts.
Also, she stressed that her primary concern is to confirm that her former schoolmate is safe and doing well.
Appealing to Nigerians and social media users, the actress urged anyone with useful information about Maria to reach out.
