A celebrity boxing match once seen as unlikely has now returned to the spotlight, as Lizzy Anjorin has agreed to face Iyabo Ojo….

Lizzy Anjorin Sets Boxing Match Conditions

Earlier in 2024, show promoter Paulo Okoye introduced the idea and offered a ₦10 million prize to spark interest.

However, the proposal did not move forward at the time, as both actresses continued their dispute through social media exchanges and legal actions.

Now, Anjorin has taken a clear step.

On Sunday, she announced her decision on Instagram, writing, “As at yesterday, May 3, 2026, I accept your challenge.”

However, she also set firm conditions.

First, she insisted that Okoye must fight her husband, Lawal, in a 10-round match.

Then she said she would face Ojo in the ring the following day.

In addition, Anjorin raised the stakes by asking both Okoye and Ojo to publicly present proof of their assets and achievements, further escalating a feud already defined by personal accusations.

Feud And Legal Battle

Over the years, the disagreement between the two actresses has grown through online clashes, police petitions, and court cases.

In 2025, Ojo filed a ₦1 billion defamation suit against Anjorin.

Although the case was struck out on procedural grounds, Ojo indicated she would pursue further legal action.

Meanwhile, celebrity boxing continues to gain attention in Nigeria.

Recently, street-pop singer Portable lost to comedian Carter Efe at a high-profile fight in Lagos.

For now, uncertainty remains over whether Okoye and Ojo will accept the conditions.

Still, Anjorin’s move has shifted the feud into a new phase, bringing the possibility of a boxing showdown closer than before.
