Actors and actresses in the Nigerian film industry came together on Thursday to honour the late actress, producer and singer, Allwell Ademola.
This was at a special prayer session and Service of Songs held in her memory.
Allwell Ademola, who was 49, passed away on December 27 after reportedly suffering a heart attack at her residence.

This is a development that sent shockwaves across the Nollywood community.
The solemn gathering drew several notable industry figures, including Odunlade Adekola, Iyabo Ojo, Saheed Balogun, Bolaji Amusan and Fathia Williams.
They all paid their last respects to the late filmmaker.
One of her closest friends and colleagues, Rotimi Salami, delivered an emotional tribute.
Also, he urges those present to forgive Ademola for any wrongs and to continue praying for her soul.
“If there’s anyone Allwell has offended, directly or indirectly, please forgive her and keep praying for her,” Salami said tearfully.
The Service of Songs was followed by a candlelight procession and an Artistes’ Night, with activities scheduled to conclude at 11:00 pm.
Also, the family has announced that her burial will take place on Friday at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos State.
Allwell Ademola was widely respected for her contributions to the Nigerian film industry, both in front of and behind the camera.
