Senegalese-American singer Akon has opened up about his past relationships and shared personal reflections.
He spoke during an appearance on The Shade Room, where he revisited earlier parts of his life.
He looked back on his romantic past and said it felt simpler at the time.
He described that period as easy, exciting, and less complicated than his present life.
“My life was very much easier when I had multiple women surrounding me,” he said.
He added that monogamy feels less exciting compared with his earlier experiences.
When asked about his current relationships, he refused to share specific details.
Instead, he said, “I plead the fifth; it will be incriminating to answer.”

He explained that his earlier lifestyle felt more relaxed and less complicated.
