Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has threatened to take legal action against her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and others over allegations that she takes hard drugs.
The actress made the statement in a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, describing the claims as false and damaging to her reputation.
In the video, Regina presented laboratory test results from a hospital in California, which she said confirmed she tested negative for hard drugs.
According to the results she displayed, the only substance associated with her test was ecstasy, commonly known as molly.
She expressed frustration at having to publicly address the allegation, stating that the accusation was aimed at destroying her image as a public figure.
Regina explained that the decision to speak out came with the new year, which she described as a period of reflection and clarity.
She emphasised that she could no longer allow harmful narratives to linger over her name, especially considering the support and loyalty she receives from fans.
The actress added that branding someone with drug-related allegations is one of the quickest ways to damage a public image.
Her clarification comes nearly three months after Senator Ned Nwoko publicly accused her of drug use.
