Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has called for reconciliation with Nigerian music star Davido, two years after they were involved in a public online dispute on X (formerly Twitter).
The disagreement began in October 2023 when Davido liked a post that described Phyna’s fans as “useless.”
Reacting at the time, Phyna questioned whether she had offended the singer to deserve such treatment, even as she congratulated him on welcoming twins with his wife, Chioma.
Davido, however, responded by saying he did not know who Phyna was, prompting the reality star to reply, “God knows me,” and unfollow him on Instagram.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Phyna revisited the incident and expressed her willingness to make peace.
She revealed that she would like to have a livestream session with Davido, stating that she is ready to publicly apologise to him.
However, she noted that she would also want clarity on what truly caused the fallout, adding that Davido might have liked the controversial post by mistake and that his response may have been misunderstood.
According to Phyna, having an open conversation with the singer would help both sides understand what went wrong and put the issue to rest.
