Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez has expressed heartfelt gratitude and joy after his senior colleague, Opeyemi Aiyeola, forgave him over past actions that caused her pain.
Earlier this month,Jamiu Azeez had publicly tendered an apology to Aiyeola.
He admitted his mistakes and acknowledging the emotional hurt he caused.
Taking to Instagram to share the good news, the actor described her forgiveness as the best gift he has received in 2025.
He also extended appreciation to fans, friends, and colleagues who stood by him during the difficult period.
Also, he gives special recognition to industry veterans who personally intervened and pleaded on his behalf.
In an emotional message, Azeez showered praise on Aiyeola, referring to her as his sister, mother, boss, mentor, cheerleader, and number one fan, while admitting that the experience taught him a hard but necessary lesson.
He wrote in part, “My sister has forgiven her boy. This is my best gift of 2025. Thank you to everyone who pleaded on my behalf, especially my industry fathers and mothers. Your kindness will never be wasted.”

Azeez further thanked Opeyemi Aiyeola for showing compassion and discipline at the same time, noting that her forgiveness reinforced her motherly nature.
