Davido’s first babymama, Sophia Momodu, has stated that she has not received child support from the singer for their daughter, Imade, in the last five years.
In a detailed Instagram story post shared on Wednesday, November 26, 2925, Sophia addressed what she described as an attempt to push a false narrative about Imade’s well-being.
She said she has been solely responsible for their daughter’s welfare, noting that Imade “knows no lack” and is being raised in a “safe, loving, and happy environment.”
Sophia Momodu further explained that Imade maintains a healthy relationship with both parents, but urged the public to stop dragging her daughter into online controversies and fabricated narratives.
Her comments follow recent criticism suggesting she prevented Imade from attending Davido’s 33rd birthday celebration in Atlanta a few days ago.
