Actress Peggy Ovire has formally responded to the ₦100 million demand notice issued by actor Taiye Arimoro, and her position is clear: she denies every allegation.
In a detailed reply from her legal representatives, Adolphus & Co, Peggy described Taiye’s accusations as “misleading, selective and materially false,”

She insisted he is twisting the entire narrative.
According to the counter-statement, the dispute began when Taiye was instructed to return to set but allegedly reacted aggressively.
Peggy’s team claims he assaulted the Production Manager, Luke Obayi, and later head-butted her driver, Joshua Madu, causing ear and nose injuries.
Several witnesses at the scene reportedly provided statements to the police confirming Taiye’s violent behaviour.
The legal response also alleges that Taiye attempted to flee the location afterwards, and efforts to stop him were purely to prevent his escape before the police arrived.

Peggy’s lawyers maintain that she never assaulted him, adding that the only physical contact was a “light push” after he allegedly tried to deflate her car tyres.
