Popular TikTok personality, Praise Nwogu, widely known as CandyTeddy, has been arrested alongside 25-year-old Ebong Emem Oghosa in Benin City
This is for allegedly producing and selling brownies infused with banned substances.

Their arrest took place on Saturday, 22 November.
It was confirmed in a statement issued by the agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday, 23 November 2025.
According to the agency, items recovered from CandyTeddy at the time of arrest
This includes 12 plates and a cup of the suspected drug-laced brownies.
Oghosa was reportedly found with 76 grams of skunk, 1.5 grams of Colorado, and several brownies suspected to contain illegal additives.
The development has intensified concerns over the increasing use of social media platforms by young people to promote or distribute prohibited substances.
Authorities say efforts are being stepped up to curb drug abuse and trafficking across Edo State.
