Afrobeats superstar, Tiwa Savage, has reassured colleague Davido of her unwavering loyalty despite their recent fallout.
Speaking during an interview with The Breakfast Club, Tiwa Savage addressed the incident that sparked tension between her and the DMW boss in January 2024.
She stated that she filed a petition against him for allegedly threatening her life.
The clash began after she posted a photo with Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, on social media amidst his custody battle with Sophia.
Also, the gesture was perceived by many as taking sides, fuelling speculation of a rift between the two singers.
However, clarifying her stance, Tiwa maintained that she would never betray Davido regardless of their differences.
“I haven’t spoken to Davido, but I do want you to know that I love you and I would never betray you or take sides,” she declared.

She further reiterated her admiration for the ‘OBO’ crooner, describing their bond as one that goes beyond social media conflicts.
