Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Sultana, has opened up about a painful chapter from her past, revealing that she was married off at the age of 15.
During a live show conversation with fellow housemate Jason Jae on Sunday, August 31, 2025, Sultana disclosed that she became a mother of two girls while still a teenager.
“I was married off really young as a child,” she said. When asked how old she was, Sultana responded, “I was about 15.”
Sultana clarified that the marriage was not her choice but admitted that her strong will eventually helped her escape the situation.
“Was it something I wanted? No, but it happened. The thing is my stubbornness got me out of it,” she explained.
Sultana further shared that her personality and love for body art often clashed with cultural expectations.
“I like piercings and tattoos. I haven’t even gotten the kind of tattoo I want because I dey think of my mama,” she added.
