Nigerian music star Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has revealed what her life might have looked like if she had not risen to become one of Africa’s most influential voices.

Tems Makes History as First Female African Artiste With 10 Million US Sales

During an interactive session with fans on X on Tuesday, a follower asked the Grammy-winning singer what career she would be pursuing today if music had failed.

Tems responded simply, stating that she would probably have become an accountant or a mathematics teacher.

The singer has previously shared that she once worked as a digital marketer before quitting the job in January 2018 to fully pursue her music career.
