Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, several music, film and comedy stars are working to ensure that their preferred presidential candidate is elected.
Some of these supports coming from these persons have sparked debate on social media, as each celebrity shows support for their preferred presidential candidate.
As of Monday, February 13, 2023, Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, publicly endorsed Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, as her preferred candidate in the forthcoming general elections.

The 45-year-old made this known via her Instagram page on Monday.
The actress shared the poster of the Labour Party with Obi’s photo on it and declared him her choice.

Iyabo Ojo emphasised the reasons she would support him by saying that it was not about her faith or her tribe but rather about accountability and putting an end to the suffering and tribulations of the average person.
