Will Smith will star in an action-thriller called Sugar Bandits which is set to become a buzzy project at the upcoming European Film Market.
The story is about a guy named Neal Maven who comes back from the Iraq War with no job and starts stealing from drug dealers with other soldiers
The movie is based on Chuck Hogan’s book ‘Devils in Exile’, but the story’s details are still a secret. AGC Studios is financing the movie, and they’re going to try to sell it at the European Film Market in Berlin this month.
Smith is producing the movie with Jon Mone for Westbrook Studios. Ryan Shimazaki is also involved in the project.
Will Smith’s last movie was Emancipation, and he’s got more projects coming up like the fourth Bad Boys movie and a sequel to I Am Legend.
“Sugar Bandits” was first announced back in 2013 with Universal developing the feature.
