Lopez revealed that facing initial skepticism and financial setbacks, they decided to push forward with the project.

When funding fell through at the last minute, they were faced with a crucial decision: whether to proceed with just making a video or to fully commit to bringing their vision to life.

Goldsmith-Thomas admitted to feeling terrified when the financing fell through, but she remained steadfast in her belief in Lopez’s talent and determination.

Lopez, in turn, remained open to feedback and notes from others while understanding the risks involved in self-financing such a venture.
