A video is trending, capturing the moment the ‘acting’ chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Lamidi Apapa, was booed and disgraced out of the premises of the Presidential Election Petition Court on Wednesday morning.
Nigerians are angry, to many, it is no longer business as usual.
According to them, the All Progressives Congress (APC) did not just spit on democracy by rigging the presidential election, the party also planted Lamidi Apapa in the LP to cause confusion.
These recent allegations and developments have angered members of the public, particularly the supporters of the Labour Party, and they have gone all out to put a stop to it.
Apapa Storms Tribunal
Apapa and the faction of the suspended National Chairman of the party, Julius Abure had engaged in a heated argument.
The argument began before the court proceeding after Apapa attempted to occupy the seat reserved for Abure.
Apapa was later seen walking away after the secretary of the presidential election petition court, Josephine Ekperobe stepped in.
He later went on to interrupt women leader, Dudu Manuga during the court hearing, where he would insist that he was the party’s chairman representing LP.
Following Apapa’s action, the five-man panel of the court led by Justice Haruna Tsammani rejected the names mentioned as representatives of the Labour Party.
Nigerians Disgrace Apapa
While Lamidi Apapa was busy dragging the seat of the National Chairman inside the courtroom, he had no idea what was waiting for him outside.
A crowd, Nigerians, were waiting outside the courthouse and right there Apapa received the greatest embarrassment of his life.

Lamidi was booed by supporters/members of the party and led out of the court.
