The BBC has published more findings on the certificate controversy involving Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

Indeed, the certificate forgery allegations leveled against President Bola Tinubu is still a major issue for every Nigerian.

In fact, many Nigerians have expressed eagerness to know the truth about Tinubu’s true identity which has been in doubt for sometime now.

Now, the disinformation team of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has disclosed that there is no evidence that President Bola Tinubu forged his Chicago State University (CSU) certificate.

The BBC, in a report entitled: ‘Bola Tinubu diploma: No evidence Nigeria’s president forged college record’, revealed that their findings vindicate the Nigerian president of certificate forgery as alleged.

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, had accused Tinubu of forging the Chicago State University (CSU) certificate submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

However, the BBC said its conclusion after they contacted CSU with questions about Tinubu’s diploma shows no evidence of forgery.

The BBC noted that in response to their questions on the certificate issued to Tinubu, the CSU said: “We are confident and always have been in the veracity and integrity of our records regarding Tinubu’s attendance and completion of graduation requirements”.
