Considering that trend, there are fears that President Bola Tinubu may take up people also in that category to work as Ministers.

Public affairs analyst, Deji Adeyanju, says in a  tweet that choosing former governors as ministers would be a waste of time.

As a result he encourages President Tinubu to nominate nine young Nigerians as ministers.

Adeyanju stated that Tinubu should appoint ministers under the age of 40 to his cabinet.

He asked the newly inaugurated President not to appoint young people as errand boys.

Adeyanju wrote: “Tinubu should appoint at least nine young Nigerians as ministers out of the 36 slots, rather than giving young people errand boy positions.

“People under the age of 40, not people like us. We dress old. Former governors being appointed as ministers is a waste of a ministerial post”.
