A gender reveal party filled with joy for a couple and their well-wishers turned sour in a twinkle of an eye, as the unexpected happened.
A plane used during a gender reveal party in Mexico tragically crashed in front of guests who were cheering.
The incident took place while a couple in San Pedro, Sinaloa, was getting ready to learn the gender of their unborn child.
In the viral video, delighted spectators could be seen filming the expecting parents’ responses.
The left wing of the Cessna plane appeared to flip upward as it entered the screen, spewing pink smoke into the sky.
Sadly, the aircraft then spiraled out of control before coming, crashing down.
The pair held hands while receiving congratulations from family members before discovering the disaster.
Local media site Linea Directa reported that the pilot, later identified as 32-year-old Luis Angel N, was stuck in the debris.
According to local media sources, Luis Angel N. was the little plane’s sole occupant and its pilot. After the collision, he was discovered laying in the debris.

Aviation Safety Network revealed that, he was taken to the hospital immediately.
However, he passed away upon getting there.
The authorities are conducting an investigation into the crash.
