If you visited the Teslim Balogun stadium in  Lagos State, you will think it is an international football game, like the World Cup was happening there.

It is not football, but the City Boy dishing out his manifesto to residents of the city ahead of the presidential election.

The stadium was filled with mammoth crowd of supporters as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, arrived the venue for the grand finale of his campaign rally.

After the visit of the Labour Party flag bearer, Peter Obi to the state, which created doubts in the minds of many Nigerians over Tinubu’s claim of owing Lagos, supporters of APC trooped out in their numbers to make a statement on behalf of their principal.

The former Governor of Lagos who arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, embarked on a roadshow from the airport and passed through the Agege motor road to Oshodi before heading towards Mushin to the stadium, the venue of the rally.

President Muhammadu Buhari in company of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) were on ground to solicit votes from Lagosians.

At the rally are the APC Vice Presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima; the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu; the Director General of the PCC and Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, all APC State Governors, members of the National Assembly and other prominent leaders of the party.

The Chief host, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu welcomed President Buhari and other APC leaders to the nation’s commercial city.
