MC Oluomo: Lagos REC Breaks Silence Over Court Ruling

The Lagos State Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) insists it will engage  the Lagos State Parks Management Committee or any of its commercial bus drivers in the distribution of election materials for the February 25 and March 11 elections.

The Commission said this after a Federal High Court in Lagos ordered the electoral body not to work with the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, headed by the transport union leader, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, a loyalist to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Reacting to the court’s ruling, the Lagos INEC REC, Olusegun Agbaje, said he was not aware of the lawsuit as he hadn’t been served.

Agbaje insists that no one is dealing with MC Oluomo because the owners of the vehicles are at the local government level.
