Following the recent breakdown of social media activities, Popular Nigerian fashion stylist, Yomi Casual has sent out a word of advise to new celebrities in town.
According to Yomi, the 21st century celebrities should learn to respect their older colleagues who have carved a name for themselves before the existence of social media.
The stylist made this statement on October 5, 2021 following the shutdown of the world’s popular social media apps.
“This should serve as a lesson to y’all 21st century celebrities and online business owners. You are nothing without the media. Respect those who made it to the top without social media #TheStruggleIsDifferent,”
It would be recalled that Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram collapsed for some hours on October 4, 2021 leaving its users frastrated.
The company however offered an apology in a brief statement released after the services were restored just close to midnight.
“To the huge community of people and businesses around the world who depend on us: we’re sorry.
“We’ve been working hard to restore access to our apps and services and are happy to report they are coming back online now,”
