He was charged with beating up a guy in Ota who filed a petition to the Commissioner of Police in Ogun and for resisting arrest and assaulting a policeman.

The zazoo crooner was subsequently granted a ₦300,000 bail with two sureties in a similar amount.
Also, the sureties must have landed properties within the vicinity of the court, the court said.

However, it was a delight to his well-wishers on Monday, March 3, when he met the conditions of the bail and was released from Ilaro Correctional Center.

After his release, one thing Portable needed to do was to run to God in prayer.

The artiste was seen hurrying off to the mosque to pray after his release in the evening shouting in pidgin, “I wan go pray, I wan go pray, AllahuAkbar”.
