The campaign Organization of Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaboshi (SPONCO) has said there was never a time in which the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa helped Nwaoboshi to win the senatorial elections against Ned Nwoko as opposed to his claims.
On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, during a campaign rally at Ukwuani Local Government Area in Delta, Okowa said he regretted choosing Nwaoboshi over Nwoko in the previous election and promised support for Nwoko in the next election.
The campaign organization, however, stated in a press release on Thursday that the statement was a “New Year Comic Statement”.
Signed by the organization’s director of media and publicity, Barr. Stanley Mbulu, the statement said Okowa had pitched tents with Nwoko in the last elections and they had both lost to Nwaboshi.
The statement partly reads, “Therefore, it came to us as a ‘New Year Comic Statement’ to learn that Okowa said that he regretted chosen Nwaoboshi over Nwoko in the previous election and promised to get it right with him (Nwoko) in the next election.
“Has Okowa forgotten so soon, how Senator Peter Nwaoboshi led the fight for an Anioma Agenda, a vanguard with the mandate for enthroning an Anioma son as the Governor of Delta State, which he (Okowa) eventually became the beneficiary?

“What could be responsible for this dramatic dementia?
“Perhaps, it is as a result of so many loads of loans on his head and the panic from his picnic with the ever loosing ‘Artificial’ Atiku, that will soon retire him politically, forevermore.
“When the incumbent is an incubator of lies and deceits, the incoming will be saddled with the responsibilities of reforms and re-orientations, but we trust the capacity of Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege in that regard and we thank God for the opportunity to make things right again in Delta State.
“As it stands, there is a hanging testimony of acknowledgement and gratitude, owed Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON), by Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, for paving way for him to eventually emerge as the Governor of Delta State and that is what Deltans all over the world are expecting the self acclaimed “Ekwueme” to say, anytime he picks up the microphone and not the fermentation and dissemination of more lies, especially now that he is retiring politically, because the sun only allows eyes to look at it directly, at its setting.
“Whenever men are finally going home, they often say the truth most, because judgement is beckoning on them already.
Lies have taken Okowa to the best peak they can afford him politically and he should not push his luck too far, because of the ‘Laws of Diminishing Returns’, which is always on standby.
“For the records, at no particular time did Dr Ifeanyi Okowa choose Senator Peter Nwaoboshi or aided his victory over a Needy Ned Nwoko, rather he pitched tent with the ‘Professor of Polygamy’ to fight the ‘Oracle’ himself and they both lost to a superior profile and preference, whose music is consistently and constantly serenading the souls of Anioma people, over and over again.
“This same Senatorial office was hitherto occupied by Okowa and he only considered his family as the Senatorial District during his tenure, whereas Nwaoboshi has been adjudged and confirmed as the best Senator of the Senatorial District in history, a status-quo the Legislative General is ready to maintain and improve upon, as the Aniomas have again decided to throw their appreciated weights of supports and solidarity behind him, this 2023.
“This is evidently one of the reasons why Okowa is envious and jealous of the Anioma’s greatest Senator.
“There is absolutely nothing he (Okowa) can do to make anything right, with an Islamic surrogate of a candidate, like Alhaji Ned Nwoko, as Anioma land is not available for ‘Islamization’ and polarization.
“Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, is a true Anioma son and ambassador in all ramifications, and the people have made him their choice again, despite the lamination of local lies in the lamentation from the liquidated lips of losers,” it added.
