NDLEA Website Crashes, Pause RecruitmentApplicants seeking opportunity to work with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) will have to wait for some time to get access to the website.

This is because, the number of visits to the government agency’s website was more than it could carry.

Barely one day into an application that is supposed to last for two weeks, people can no longer find the website.

Apparently a pointer to the fact that unemployment rate is high in Nigeria.

During the start of the NDLEA hiring process, the website collapsed.

The agency’s website listed “500 internal server issues” as of Monday at 11:41AM.

The spokesman for the agency, Femi Babafemi, confirmed the development.

He says the website traffic-related bugs were to blame.

“The portal never went offline.

“There are issues since so many candidates are attempting to access the portal at once.

“Our technical staff will fix them by midday,” he said.

The NDLEA over the weekend announced the commencement of its 2023 recruitment exercise for qualified and interested Nigerians.

NDLEA is a federal law enforcement agency in Nigeria under the Federal Ministry of Justice.

Basically, they are charged with eliminating the growing, processing, manufacturing, selling, exporting, and trafficking of hard drugs.

The agency was established by Decree Number 48 of 1989.

According to a statement by the agency on Friday, registration will be done online.

It is open for four weeks from Sunday, March 12 To Saturday, April 8, 2023.

The statement is sign by the NDLEA Director of media and advocacy, Femi Babafemi.

He wants interested persons to click this link to the recruitment portal and complete the application.

After successfully applying online, candidates must print out their generated photo slips as well as download two referee forms which must be completed and brought along for the screening/interview stage of the recruitment exercise.
