There was chaos in the Mile 2 area of Lagos State early on Tuesday. People living there blocked the road and caused traffic problems.
In a short video on X (formerly Twitter), it showed Mile 2 road blocked with burning tires, and someone in the video told drivers to stay away from the area.

The Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, said that the police are sending a team to fix the situation
That claim cannot be confirmed yet. Information is still sketchy.
However, I can confirm that police patrol teams have arrived the scene, obstacles are being cleared and free flow of traffic picking up again.
