The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was greeted by a massive crowd as he stormed Sokoto state for his campaign rally.

Peter Obi, his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, and other members of the party’s presidential campaign team arrived in Sokoto for the party’s campaign rally today, February 1, 2023.
As part of their programme, the team paid a courtesy visit to the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III before going to the campaign ground.
Obi has continued to change the narrative that northerners will not vote for an Igbo man or other political party aside from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
