Piers Morgan in a recent interview alleged they “betrayed” him, criticised former teammates, and said the club’s owners don’t care about the football side of the business, Ronaldo’s time at Old Trafford looks to be coming to an end.

The Mirror disclosed that the Paris Saint-Germain’s star is a surprise target for the January transfer window and that substitutes are already being considered.

The French international, who signed a record-breaking deal to remain at Paris Saint-Germain for an additional three years over the summer, has had a challenging season this year.

Reports reveals that Mbappe had become impatient with manager Christoph Galtier because he was using him in the centre field rather than his preferred position off the left side.

Despite this, things seem to have improved recently, and PSG’s summer investment in the Paris native makes it improbable that they will let him leave within the next year, much alone within the next six months.

According to reports, Mbappe would cost more than £150 million to acquire, with United having the resources to do so.

United is reportedly one of just a few teams in Europe that can meet Mbappe’s outrageous salary demand, which is reportedly in the neighbourhood of £500,000 per week.

However, another target the Red Devils will face if the deal hit a deadlock is Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen.
