Concerns are rising over the mysterious death of the first son of Yul Edochie, Kambilinachukwu Edochie.
The Lagos State Police Command says investigations are currently ongoing to determine the cause of the death of the 16-year old boy.
Benjamin Hundeyin confirms to BBC Pidgin that the boy died on Thursday morning, March 30.
Hundeyin is the Spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command.
The Incident
Kambilinachukwu reportedly fell unconscious and was rushed to the clinic for medical attention.
All efforts by Doctors to save him proved abortive.
According to May Edochie’s sister who gave information on the boy’s death, the boy read all through the previous night in preparation for his exams.
He developed a seizure while playing football with his colleagues in school and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital.

Unfortunately, he didn’t survive.
The Investigation
Hundeyin says Yul reported the incident at a police station close to his residence and has written a statement about his son’s death.
The police spokesman said: “He just reported the case and we have begun investigation.
Today (Friday) it will be transferred to state CID. We will investigate what killed the boy.

“They have to do an autopsy and know what happened to him,”
“We can’t tell you what happened to him now until an autopsy is conducted.
“But the incident happened in the school”.
