Adidas have announced they will start selling Yeezy merchandise again. The popular 350 V2 silhouette will be the first to launch globally in the “Steel Grey” colorway.

Kanye West has however asked his fans not to buy these new Yeezys, branding them “fake”.

ADIDAS CUTS TIES WITH KANYE WEST FOLLOWING ANTISEMITIC COMMENTS

Kanye said that he didn’t design these colorways, isn’t making money from them, and is even being sued by Adidas. He expressed frustration, comparing the situation to rape. .

In his Instagram post, Kanye said, “Anyone who loves Ye should not buy these fake Yeezys. I didn’t create these colors, I’m not making money from them, and Adidas is suing me.”

“Everyone gets worked up about a T-shirt or the color of my hat, but when you see me without access to my children or witness a big company like Adidas mistreat one of your heroes, no one speaks up or takes action.”

Continuing, he added, “What are you going to do about the system now? Ban my music again? Freeze my bank accounts again? Threaten people not to work with me again? All these new 350s that are not approved are lame, and everyone knows the 350 has always been lame.”

Back in October 2022, Adidas ended their partnership with Kanye after he repeatedly made anti-Semitic comments.

Adidas had said then in a statement that, “After a thorough review, the company has decided to end its partnership with Kanye West immediately, stop making Yeezy products, and halt all payments to Ye and his companies.”
