The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and his wife, Hafsat Umar, were both conferred with the chieftaincy title of “Olorogun of Olomu Kingdom” today in Delta State.

According to reports, His Royal Majesty, Ovie Dr R. L. Ogbon, the Ohworode of the ancient Olomu Kingdom, granted the Kano native and his wife the chieftaincy titles.
Olomu Kingdom chiefs, senior Kano state government officials, members of Ganduje’s family, politicians, and other members of the Olomu Kingdom all attended the event, which was held in the palace of the Ohworode.
