Recall that the social media space was thrown into mourning yesterday with condolence messages from colleagues, politicians and fans across boards after reports emerged that Davido’s son with Chioma Rowland drowned and died in a pool in their house.

Reacting via his official Twitter page on Wednesday, Prince Adejobi said the police force sympathizes with Davido and his family over the passing on of their son.

The Force PRO assured that the Lagos Command of the force would carry out a proper investigation to unravel the mystery behind Ifeanyi’s death.

In his words: “Hhmm, We all sympathise with you, Davido, may the Lord console you and your family, while we assure you and Nigerians that the Lagos Command will do a proper investigation on the ugly incident. May the Lord repose the soul of your son. Ire o.”

However, his post did not settle well with netizens as many said Prince Muyiwa didn’t have to upload the old photos of the singer at this time. They described the post as insensitive.
