Reno Omokri says the love people in Anambra have for Peter Obi is Organic

You see, most times people say love in Nigeria is not genuine. Well, you cannot blame them. They see the hunger in the land which often drive people to first focus on what to get from the individual in exchange for their love.

The most implicated in this matter are politicians. But Peter Obi is different.

A Nigerian activist, lawyer, social media influencer and PDP supporter, Reno Omokri, is dropping his prejudice for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

He has made an open apology to Peter Obi and his supporters for the attacks he had made on them online.

‘Applause Like Thunder’

In the video he posted on his Instagram page, he said: “Several people have said Bola Tinubu rigged the February 25, 2023 elections to emerge as the president elect, but then I have said publicly that Peter Obi also did some rigging by himself.

“Because, when I look at the figures that he posted from Anambra State, getting almost 97% of the votes, I felt there was some shenanigans going on, and then, he replied to me in his interview on Arise TV, saying he is surprised he didn’t win 100% because he is so popular.

“I took that with a pinch of salt, but then today, I’ve seen an event celebrating the one-year anniversary in office for the incumbent Governor of Anambra, Charles Soludo.

“Peter Obi walked into the room, and the applause was like thunder because, obviously, he is more popular than the incumbent governor with what we are seeing.

“I might want to take back what I said; I can see that it’s quite possible he could have gotten 97% of the votes without rigging. I take back what I said.

An Organic Love

“I won’t say he is stingy, but he is very thrifty”.
