There is a popular saying that ‘a prophet is not always honoured in his home’, but the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria birthed a prophet who is not just honoured, but loved by all in his home.
This ‘prophet’ is Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP), presidential candidate.
Despite the dirty reputation Nigerian politicians have earned the political business, Peter Obi seems to be an exception.
This is evident in the genuine love Nigerians have for him. People are willing to risk anything to meet him.
Now, Stephen Muoka, the popular ‘Eluu P’ crooner is begging for just one meeting with Obi.
‘Eluu P’
Muoka became a sensation online after a video of him counting votes in a comical manner during the presidential election surfaced online.
Stephen’s pronunciation of LP (Labour Party) as ‘Eluu P’ amused many and the video went viral online.
Aside the amusement in the video, his burning passion during the rendition got many emotional.
Now he has expressed his desire to meet with Peter Obi.
Tunde Ednut Effect
It was when popular blogger, Tunde Ednut got hold of the video that the Eluu P crooner got his new found fame.
According to Muoka the video was recorded in his polling unit at Onu Orei Amechi Road, Topland, Enugu State.
His friend, Kachi recorded the video and uploaded it on TikTok.
That was were Tunde Ednut saw the video.
Muoka says he was unaware that his friend was recording him.
The Meeting
Asked if Peter Obi or his team has reached out to him, Stephen said they have not and he hopes that he would meet the former governor of Anambra state.

He also listed some of the qualities that attracted him to Peter Obi.
He said: “Not yet, but I desire to meet Peter Obi one day. I have a hundred per cent hope that one day, I would meet him.
“So many things drew me to him. He is a good man. He is the hope that the youth have, to ‘recreate’ everything about Nigeria.
