Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has taken a swipe at American rapper and producer, Curtis James Jackson III, popularly known as 50 Cent after the later revealed plans to release a movie series based on the popular Nigerian internet fraudster, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi.

Recall that 50 Cent shared the pictures of the convict on his Instagram account on Wednesday revealing that he is working on a movie project based on Hushpuppi’s story.

The G-Unit Records founder wrote in the caption, “For my scammers, I gotta do this one. Hushpuppi series coming soon! GLG, Green Light Gang I don’t miss. #Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv.”

Reacting to the update via a Twitter post, Reno Omokri said that he is not impressed with 50 Cent’s movie plans considering it negative impact on the country,

According to him, producing such movie will further tank Nigeria’s already battered image in the face of other countries.

According to Reno, there are other positive things and stories to tell about Nigeria instead of doing a movie about fraud.

“If 50 Cent really wants to do a movie about fraud, then he should consider doing one with Bernie Madoff, an American who stole $50 billion, thereby pulling off the biggest heist ever on earth”
