A Federal High Court (FHC) Judge, Justice Peter Mallong, of the Kaduna Division, is dead. Justice Mallong died on Sunday July 30, after a brief illness in Abuja.

The Chief Registrar, Federal High Court of Nigeria, Hassan Sulaiman, announced the sudden death of the judge in a statement he made available to newsmen Monday morning.
He said, “Hon. Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, a judge of the Federal High Court, passed away on July 30, 2023, unexpectedly after a brief illness in Abuja. We will miss him more than words can express.
