Canadian rapper, Drake, has lost $1 million after he bet on Argentina to win the 2022 World Cup finals against France within 90 minutes of regulation time.
Drake had earlier shared that he bet the amount on a straight-win ticket for Argentina to win the game in the 90-minutes time provided.
In a video posted by the rapper, he revealed that he was placing his bet on Argentina and his friend was placing his on France.
Drake’s bet seemed to have been correct with Argentina winning by 2-0 in the first half of the game.

However, in a twist of events, Mbappe scored two goals for France and another goal from both sides led to an extra time and penalty shootout, causing Drake to lose his bet.
Drake has been a topic of discussion recently for allegedly having a curse that never allows his football prediction to come to reality.
The ‘Drake Curse’ seems to be a topic for social media as the rapper has backed many wrong horses in sporting events in the past.
