In Nigeria, the only man known to accept defeat in an election without putting in a fight is Goodluck Jonathan. But is Charly Boy throwing Peter Obi in that category?
You see, this decision by Former President Jonathan is one reason people say he has a good heart, but that remains for his very close pals to say.
A lot is happening in Nigeria at the moment, but one that holds great attention is the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
As the 2023 Presidential Election Tribunal continues to linger, many Nigerians are becoming more doubtful.
This category of persons had predicted that the Tribunal will drag on until everyone would eventually get tired.
In fact, it appears that this prediction is exactly what is playing out.
Despite this continued drama, there are many who are willing to do more to see the emergence of what they describe as a better Nigeria.
An entertainer Charles Oputa, also referred to as Charly Boy is one of such people.
In fact, he has advised the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, against conceding to President Bola Tinubu.
As of now, Obi and the Labour Party are legally contesting President Tinubu’s victory.
Ripe For A Revolution
Nonetheless, Charly Boy vowed that ‘if Obi chose to withdraw his complaints against President Tinubu at the Presidential Election Tribunal, he and other LP backers would not accept this outcome’.
Charly Boy expressed a steadfast determination for a better Nigeria, saying it must happen “by fire by force”.
He hinted that the nation was ripe for a revolution. If the judiciary does not bring justice, he says Obi’s supporters will consider other means.
Charly Boy in a post on his Twitter account on Tuesday wrote, “U know smtin? Even if Peter Okwute Obi come tell us say make we move on from the 2023 yeye selection wey Yakubu mess up, Obidients no go gree sam sam.
“I Dey tell many people say, wetin wan happen wey don overdue to happen for Nigeria pass Peter Obi.
“Naija must be better by fire by force, Obidients/ Lovers of a New Nigeria take note.

“All our eyes dey for Judiciary. If dem like make dem F*k up, we know what to do.”
No one is aware of how this statement will be taken by the government.
The government can easily go after him, claiming his statement was calling for mayhem.
But if that becomes the case, will Charly Boy be ready enough to face the music and entertain patience that bearing the burden of ‘a new Nigeria’ requires?
