Most Nigerians have been thrown into a state of confusion on how to survive with the scarcity of the new naira notes. The cash Nigerians once carry about, disappeared from every wallet in few days.
More confusing for the general masses is the fact that they do not know who to believe and obey at the moment.
Is it the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) that says old notes are no more legal by February 10, 2023 or the Supreme Court that has asked the CBN to forget that deadline.

It is advisable to strike a bargain with petty traders around you so as to ease the stress of search for raw cash.

However, it is important to note that only a trader that trusts you will be willing to do that in Nigeria.
Use Cash Only When Necessary
Stop trying to pay cash for everything you buy.
Do more of transfer.
This way, you would save your cash for emergencies and situations where you might not be able to do transfer.

You must have queued for cash, fuel and even your PVC in the past days and all you do is wonder what is wrong with the nation.

Remember you are not the only person experiencing this cash crunch. So, do not get yourself worked up unnecessarily.
Drink water a lot, eat less so you can save the food.
Instead of always spending money on transportation, look for areas where can cut the journey by taking a walk.

It is wise also to have one of these Point of Sale (PoS) operators as friend whom you can rely on to always get cash from whenever you are cash strapped.
Get close to them so that when you run into difficult situations where you urgently need to make use of cash they can respond to you in your time of need.

Give others what they need that you have for what you need that they have.
Stop the over reliance on cash to transact business because this cashless policy implementation may just be Nigeria’s best opportunity to move a step away from corruption that happens with physical cash.
