Burna Boy, Others Make Nigeria Proud In NBA All Stars Performance

Nigerian music stars Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema have put their country on the international map with their music. On February 19, the artistes performed during the halftime show at the NBA All-Star games on February 19, 2023.

It was amazing to see how Burna boy and other Nigerian artists captivated the audience with their performances of Afrobeat songs.

It is a wonder how the Western world has now accepted African music with so much love.

Grammy Award-winning singer Burna Boy graced the stage first and performed some of his hits like ‘It’s Plenty,’ ‘Last Last’, and ‘Anybody’.

His performance was followed by Mavin superstar Rema, who thrilled the audience with hits like ‘Calm Down’ and his latest single, ‘Holiday’.

Grammy winner Tems closed the show with beautiful performances of songs like “Free Mind,” “Crazy Tings,” and her verses on Wizkid’s “Essence” and Future’s “Wait For You.”

Nigerian artists and foreign music superstars such as Beyonce, Drake, Chris Brown, and Brandy are now collaborating to create good music that is consumed globally.
