Newly elected Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has promised British citizens that he will fix the economy by making economic stability the major goal of this government.

The PM said he will do everything he knows how to do to address the economic challenges affecting the country at the moment.

He made this statement while addressing the British citizens on the floor of Number 10 Downing street, after meeting with King Charles III.

Sunak, the youngest Prime Minister in history, appreciated his predecessors, Boris Johnson and Liz Truss. Sunak said, praised Truss stating that she did a lot to improve the economic situation in the country but made a mistake for which her government was castigated which led to her resignation.

The new PM, however, promised to bring the country’s economy back to a place of prosperity from where it currently stands.

Sunak who was a former Minister of Finance reminded the British citizens of how hard he worked as the finance minister during the era of Covid-19, he promised to bring that same spirit and hard work to bear to make the nation’s economy alive again.

Rishi Sunak, in rounding off said I know that integrity, accountability, and trust is earned, i promise to earn yours.
