There is tension in Asaba communities as unidentified persons kill a security officer and one other.

The officer was beheaded and burnt to death with a motorcycle along Ugbolu mi-5 road in the Ugbolu community while the civilian was stabbed to death.

The hoodlums are suspected to be members of IPOB.

Police Launches Investigation

The death of the two persons created panic in the areas, as IPOB members stormed the streets chanting and shooting.

The dead bodies were found along Ugbolu road around 7:30AM, near the 63 Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters.

Confirming the death, the police spokesman in the state, Bright Edafe, said only one dead body was found.

Edafe said the details of the killing of the unidentified man were yet-to-be-ascertained, adding they are investigating the matter.
